Reading Pleasure
Two basic, broad genres separate reality from illusion in the world of books, and these are labeled as fact and fiction books. Much fiction is classified in sub-genres such as novels, poetry, and plays. A well-rounded literary education will introduce readers at a relatively early age to at least two out of three of these basic types of fiction. When one is exposed to these types of fiction, book reading pleasure can be greatly enhanced throughout one's lifetime as a people develop a taste for certain types of books and know what will be the most pleasurable personal reading experience for them.Hopefully, parents have introduced their children to books before they can talk because books are not just a great learning experience for older children browsergames top100 and adults. For instance, little boys and even little girls who are interested in toy cars and trucks may have a special fondness for a book by Richard Scarry, “Cars and Trucks and Things that Go.” Virginia Lee Burton’s books “Mike and the Steam Shovel” an old and endearing classic, and “Katy and the Big Snow” are good examples of these entertaining stories for the ultimate children’s book reading pleasure.
